Train Your Brain: Contests
The Regional FRN and Putnam Wellness Coalition is holding this art competition to promote recycling and reuse of materials emphasizing creativity and innovation, in WV. This contest is a fun way for students and families to explore recycling and upcycling methods in a creative way. We are featuring 2 separate contests.
Coloring Contest: Ages 0-Preschool
Kids that are preschool age or younger are invited to participate in the Train Your Brain coloring contest.
Important Details:

Print the sheet using your home printer.

Participants may color the sheet using art supplies of their choice.

Send registration form and a photo or scanned copy of the coloring sheet in via email or our online registration form.

Entries must be received no later than December 14th.

Contest will be judged by local business owners/operators.

Winners will be announced on the Putnam Wellness Coalition and Regional FRN facebook pages on December 18th.

Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third places.
Upcycled Train Contest: Grades K-12
Children in grades K-12 are invited to participate in the Train Your Brain contest.
Important Details:

Participants should design and build a train made from recycled materials found at home. Example of materials that can be used are: paper towel rolls, shoe boxes, water bottles, sticks, clay, rocks, used food containers, etc.

Train displays should be delivered to Valley Park on December 14th between the hours of 9 am and 7 pm.

Registration forms must be filled out to participate.

Contest will be judged by local business owners/operators.

Winners will be announced on the Putnam Wellness Coalition and Regional FRN facebook pages on December 18th.

Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third places in each division of the contest. Divisions are: Grades K-2, Grades 3-5, Grades 6-8, and Grades 9-12.
